1. A comment by Philipp Neumann, who gave it a rating of four out of five stars and said, “I played it for almost exactly two years, became really invested in it, spent some money on it here and there, and had a lot of fun with the hero collecting and upgrading aspects of it, as well as the player versus player battles that were a part of it. In the most recent few months, they altered every single mechanism such that it is now completely pay-to-win, and I became quite concerned about the game as a result. But now that they have actually listened to the community and are much more in contact with the players, they have rolled back a lot of those modifications so that it can once again be a really fun game.”

2. dana harris’s comment was given a score of 5/5 with the following statement: “The game is a lot of fun to play while traveling because it helps pass the time. (or any long-distance travel), it’s so easy to traverse, and it doesn’t take 3-5 hours to gain new characters; it’s not difficult in the least. (or any long-distance travel)”

3. Zsigmond Vass gave his comment a rating of 4 out of 5 stars and wrote, “I have been playing the game for close to two years now, I have purchased numerous expansion packs, and I find that I truly enjoy playing this game; nevertheless, the previous year has been an emotional roller coaster for me… After IO began to ignore the potential of the free-to-play model of the game in favor of the pay-to-win model, the company later showed that it cared about the free-to-play players by switching back to the pay-to-win model… At the moment, they pretty much pay attention to the comments made by the user base, and as a result, everyone appears to be satisfied. I really want to give them a five-star rating, therefore I really hope that they keep up the wonderful work!”

4. Benjamin Forney offered a comment with a score of four out of five stars and stated, “The new owners ruined the game, but once they lost a significant number of players, they patched it up to some degree. It’s still fun to play, but it’s not what it used to be. New players have the ability to rapidly increase their power, and more experienced players have additional options for rapidly progressing through the game.”

5 . Comment by Tommy Wilson, who gave it a score of four out of five stars and remarked, “Oh boys. I’ve been playing this game for the past five years, and ever since the new creators took over after Godzi sold it, it’s been broken. Made 8 stars instead of 7, which among other things required twice as much ground. I would have removed this if I didn’t have a group of buddies with whom I’ve been playing for years.”

6. A comment by Nisan Sarma, who gave it a score of five out of five and said, “Cool game, but why not include a knife mode? Also, do something about the jump sound; the jump sound should include the sound of boots hitting the floor in addition to the voice. Finally, improve the graphics; some of the maps look absolutely atrocious. Why not include some events with distinct maps to earn uncommon supplies? Things like this may really help the game stand out from the competition. Thank you.”

7 . A comment made by James Perry, who gave it a score of 5/5 and stated, “The developers started polls for the players to vote on planned changes prior to implementing them, which put more control over the course of the game into the hands of the players. Because of this, I bumped my review back up to four stars, up from two stars. Unquestionably a step in the correct path to take.”

8 . Comment by Daniel Navarro, who gave it a score of four out of five stars and said, “Increased from three stars to four stars as a result of new developers polling players prior to making significant changes; the game originally had five stars before May brought about significant but unwelcome changes. This is the only idle game that has ever retained my interest, and as I recently crossed the three-year milestone, I can only hope that the game’s new developers continue to push the game in the correct path.”

9 . Comment by Justin Gosnell, who gave it five stars out of five and stated, “It’s a pretty entertaining idle game, and there’s a good variety of weekly and daily events, so you’ll definitely want to keep coming back for those. Used to be a 5/5, but they placed the ‘pile of gold’ button (which costs the in-game premium currency known as ‘Floz’) underneath a major button that actually does something. (Costs 20 floz) Extremely dissatisfied with the most recent patch; the creators appear to be grasping at straws in their search for a “floz” money trap. Developers have addressed the fundamental problems by taking into account feedback from customers.”
